Claudia Newberry jazz vocalist,has been performing in the Bay Area and abroad for over 15 years. She started playing piano at age 7,and singing at the age of 15. Claudia's classical training in both voice and piano,has greatly influenced her jazz vocals,infusing clarity,smoothness,power,and energy into every phrase.Her subtle improvisations and scatting take the listener on a musical journey,being neither too much nor too little..

Claudia's 2nd CD,"So Nice",was released just 4 years after her first release,"I Love Being Here with You". Both CD's have received great
acclaim,and have been heard on KCSM,the Bay Area's jazz station..

Claudia has performed in many venues in the Bay Area, and also
Las Vegas,London,and Taipei.Venues include: The Plush Room,
the Ritz Carlton, Mark Hopkins, the Donatello,and Shanghai 1930..

Claudia is also a voice and piano teacher.She has been teaching private lessons over 15 years.
